Brand Impersonation Protection & Advisory

A guide to identifying, reporting, and taking down fake domains, social media accounts, and unauthorized communication claiming to represent CyberTechWise.

1. Common Impersonation Attack Vectors

Lookalike Domains & Email Spoofing

Scammers create domains almost identical to our official website to send fake recruitment or service emails.

Attack Indicators
  • Fake Senders: Emails sent from addresses like hr@cybertech-wise.com or support@cybertechwise-careers.com.
  • Genuine Address: Official communications originate strictly from @cybertechwise.com.
Golden Rule: Always inspect the full email address header before clicking links or replying.

Fake Recruitment & Payment Demands

Fraudulent social accounts and recruiters target job seekers asking for fees or personal details.

Key Protections
  • Zero Payment Policy: CyberTechWise never asks candidates for payment, registration fees, training deposits, or equipment costs at any hiring stage.
  • Fake Offers: Impersonators offer high-paying jobs via WhatsApp or LinkedIn and ask for upfront money or banking details.
Safety Warning: Never send money or share passwords with anyone claiming to represent CyberTechWise.
